Screenwriter & director Martin Brennan was born in Downpatrick Northern Ireland in 1977. He graduated from the University of Ulster, Belfast in 2000 with a BA Hons in Visual Communications.

 

After directing his spec spot for Nissan, Martin signed for commercial representation with Irish production company Blinder, and has since directed spots for Dublin & Belfast advertising agencies Publicis QMP, and FireIMC.

Martin is also currently in development on several feature films 'The Taken' & the fantasy trilogy '13 Coins' with producer Mark Huffam whose past credits include award winning films such as 'Saving Private Ryan', 'The Hours', and 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin'. Both projects are being co-written with American based screenwriter Michael B. Jackson, who was the writer of Martin's NIFTC/Lottery funded short film 'Soldier'.
